Dolphin Dance aquatic bodywork in warm water

Dolphin Dance

Aquatic bodywork in Hawaii

A dive into your inner dolphin

SessionsWorkshops

Surface, underwater, stillness, and dance in one aquatic form

Dolphin Dance is Lilia Cangemi's specific aquatic and subaquatic bodywork practice: body-temperature water, precise touch, nose-clip ease, receiver-led immersion, underwater music, and movement above and below the surface.

The practice

A defined aquatic and subaquatic form.

It begins with warm-water support and can move into the underwater world by request, combining touch, breath, dance, contact improvisation, and hydrodynamic movement with careful attention to the receiver's agency.

The receiver stays in relationship with breath, body, and choice.

A Dolphin Dance session may include passive receiving, interactive unwinding, receiver-controlled submerging and surfacing, couple or triad formats, and underwater dance. Nose clips create an easy interface between air and water while the dive reflex can open deep relaxation.
